Appearing in the Oscar
|
|
---|---|
The Cape May - Lewes Ferry has been the star of many romantic evenings, engagements, family outings, and dream road trips. Still, the Ferry is now a supporting actor in the Oscar Nominated (Eight times!) Bob Dylan Bio-Pic, "A Complete Unknown" from Searchlight Pictures. In May, Hollywood came to Cape May and Lower Township to film parts of the newly released film. Already receiving critical acclaim and buzz for more awards, Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning, and more stars came to the Ferry (MV New Jersey doubled for the Newport Ferry) to reenact scenes supporting the depiction of Bob Dylan's 1965 Newport Jazz Festival appearance. |
Be sure to see the movie in theaters now, and then book your ride on the Ferry. Welcome aboard, and we are sorry, MV New Jersey can't sign autographs. See a fun piece from our friends at WBOC. |
Terminal Improvements on Both Sides of the Bay |
---|
The Cape May - Lewes Ferry is in the process of making improvements at both of our terminal facilities during the Winter Sailing Season. |
Cape May TerminalBeginning on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, concrete repair and replacement is scheduled for the next three weeks and will be completed before the Thanksgiving holiday. Please be alert to signs when arriving by car at the terminal. The concrete work will not impact the toll booths or the loading lanes. Additionally, our bathroom remodeling project continues on the main floor of the Cape May Terminal. The second-floor restroom facilities remain open, and elevator access is available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
|
Lewes TerminalThe Lewes Boardwalk began a rehabilitation project on Monday, November 11, 2024. Due to the nature of this work, we will need to restrict boardwalk access. We expect the project to be completed in early April 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience, but know you will love the results.
