THE SAVANNAH COMMUNITY CENTER hosts a hot dog fundraiser from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3. A $10 plate includes a dog with fixings and sides, a drink and a dessert, and funds go for the Community Center.

Harris Regional Hospital is partnering with Smoky Mountain High School to provide free sports physicals for all students in Jackson County on Thursday, May 8, from 5:30-7 p.m. The event will be held in the new gym at Smoky Mountain High School.
