Egmond aan Zee - Pompplein

The Pompplein is the heart of Egmond aan Zee and is located between the Voorstraat and the Zuiderstraat. From the square you can already see, hear and smell the sea and the lighthouse is also nearby. Under the new Pump Square, there is a large 1,845 m3 receptacle to collect rainwater from Voorstraat. In the past it sometimes happened that about 50 cm of rainwater stood in the streets around the square.
