- The person submitting a camera should provide accurate information and submit only cameras they are authorized to submit or cameras that are publicly published by the operator.
- The Administrator may verify, correct, supplement, merge (e.g., in case of duplicates), move, temporarily disable, or remove directory listings, in particular when a listing is outdated, incorrect, violates these Terms, or following a request from the camera owner.
VI. How WorldCam Works – Directory Listings and Thumbnails
- WorldCam is a camera directory. Listings are informational and navigational and are intended to help Users find a camera and reach its source page.
- We display static preview thumbnails next to listings and on the map to help Users find a working camera and check current conditions.
- Thumbnails are clickable: in lists and on the map they lead to the listing page on WorldCam, and from the listing page the User can access the camera’s source page.
- A thumbnail is not a video transmission and does not constitute a rebroadcast of the stream. Thumbnails are overwritten on update and refreshed at a moderate frequency.
- If you are the camera owner and do not wish your thumbnail to be displayed, please email us (preferably including a link to the listing) at: info@worldcam.eu, and we will disable the thumbnail as soon as possible.
- At the camera owner’s request, we may also limit the presentation of a listing or remove the listing from the directory if the owner does not wish the camera to appear on WorldCam.
- For partner cameras, different presentation rules may apply based on individual arrangements with the Partner.
VII. Notices and Contact
- For matters related to listings, thumbnails, incorrect data, content rights, or other notices, please contact us at: info@worldcam.eu.
- The Administrator will take action as soon as reasonably possible after receiving a notice. In justified cases, the Administrator may request clarification (e.g., a link to the listing) or confirmation that the notice comes from the camera owner or an authorized representative.
VIII. Liability
- WorldCam is not responsible for the availability, quality, or content of camera source pages, nor for the operation of cameras on the operators’ side.
- WorldCam does not guarantee continuous availability of all portal features or the accuracy of information provided by Users or external sources.
IX. Final Provisions
- The Administrator may amend these Terms. The User will be informed by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document.
- If the User does not accept changes to these Terms, the User may stop using WorldCam and delete their User Account.
- The Administrator reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently discontinue WorldCam.
- The Administrator reserves the right to introduce fees for selected services or features, after prior notice to Users. Lack of acceptance may result in opting out of paid features or termination of services that require payment.
- These Terms are governed by Polish law.
