Description
Two cameras installed on the northeast side of Mono Lake. It is one of the oldest lakes in North America, approximately 760,000 years old. A characteristic feature of Mono Lake are tuff formations that create unique limestone towers. The high salinity and alkalinity of the lake water mean that there are no fish in it. The current webcam image available on the external website.
