The Monkey Bay Fire Effects Plot in Belize monitors vegetation changes in a fire-prone area. The camera documents seasonal dynamics, the effects of fire transition, and the rate of plant regeneration after fires. Photographic data are used to analyze the impact of fire on the structure and functioning of the savanna-woodland landscape.
